Our response to COVID-19
Many of us will already by praying about the coronavirus situation in our nation and locality. Please consider setting aside some time aside each day to pray for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pray for God’s healing and comfort for those who have coronavirus and their families
Pray for God’s peace for those who are anxious especially the vulnerable and children
Pray for God’s presence and companionship to be with those in care homes and alone at home
Pray for God’s wisdom and good decision making for those in Government and their advisers
Pray for God’s compassion and strength for all those working in our health and care services
Pray for God’s provision and wisdom for those with affected businesses
Pray for God's presence in our schools and help for teachers and students
Pray for God’s mercy that the pandemic would come to an end
Give thanks to God…
For those working in our health and care services
For those volunteering in local communities to support and care for those staying at home
For those contributing and volunteering in food banks
For those working in education
For businesses who are adapting and supporting their local community
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:6-7

International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church
Many Christians around the world suffer for their faith daily. They are treated less favourably by authorities, punished for crimes they did not commit & struggle to meet for worship - if at all possible.
The Bible calls us to pray for our Brothers & Sisters in faith (Hebrews 13:3), to remember them & to provide as we are able.
Sunday, 15th Nov 2020 was the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church - so please visit the websites below, get informed & pray !
Financial gifts are also welcome to help with Advocacy costs & writing letters year round which is of great encouragement to those who receive.
If you would like a local contact, Anne B is an Ambassador for CSW in Keswick - you can contact her here
