Projects
CTiK has always been involved in a range of social justice projects in the local community and this is one of our key objectives. Some of these e.g. Keswick Community Housing Trust, were initiated by CTiK and now run independently; some were time limited e.g. Credit Union and Warm Welcome Spaces; and others continue with a small or a significant CTiK input e.g. Two’s Company Keswick.
Current Projects
Two's Company Keswick
Two’s Company Keswick is now a well-established long term befriending scheme for lonely and socially isolated adults in the Keswick and CA12 area that launched in July 2021. It was set up as a partnership between Churches Together in Keswick and Keswick Rotary Club with the support of AgeUK West Cumbria and under a partnership agreement with UK Linking Lives.
For further details of the scheme, including how to become a volunteer befriended or how to refer someone into the scheme please contact us:

Creation Care
CTiK declared a climate emergency in June 2021 and encouraged its members to do likewise and follow the measures proposed in the Climate Emergency Toolkit produced by Tearfund and partner organisations.
CTiK holds churches to account by asking at each meeting, ‘What has each church done in response to the climate emergency?’
